Device Monitoring Studio 5.20 is released! It contains new generic filtering feature, new data visualizer and a lot of stability and performance improvements.

This release introduces a powerful generic filtering feature, that allows you to configure filtering for different visualizers and create filtering schemes, which then can be quickly applied to different visualizer windows.

It also contains a new data visualizer for USB Communications device class and brings decoding support for Communications class descriptors to the Configuration Descriptor tool window.

A number of performance and stability issues were fixed in this release as well, making the product more stable and faster.

USB Monitor (Device Monitoring Studio) has been updated to version 5.03. It fixes several compatibility issues and offers new functionality.

Statistics View visualizer was the main target of this release, not counting the increased compatibility with various USB hardware devices.

A lot of new counters were added to the Statistics Visualizer (see the complete list), as well as new user interface features, including the splitter between the plot area and statistics area. Statistics data may now be exported to comma separated file (CSV), in additional to existing "Copy to Clipboard" function. "Copy to Clipboard" now prepares the finished report to be used in other applications without a change.

Device Monitoring Studio has been updated to version 5.01. Built-in downloader now provides the automatic updates functionality.

The product can be configured to automatically check for updates every launch or once a week. If it detects that newer version is available, it asks user's permission to download and install it. It then downloads the update in background. You can even close the Device Monitoring Studio and shut down your computer. When you launch a product next time, update downloading will continue.
