Installation Instructions

If you are a new Serial Monitor (DMS) user:

• Download the Serial Monitor (DMS) to your downloads folder.
• Run the installer file (double-click on it).
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you already have Serial Monitor (DMS) installed:

• Download the Serial Monitor (DMS) to your downloads folder.
• Uninstall the previous version of Serial Monitor (DMS).
• Run the installer file (double-click on it).
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

We recommend you stop any Registry protection utilities before attempting to install as they can prevent the application from installing correctly.

If you are running Windows NT or a later operating system, you must log on to your PC using an Administrator account or be able to elevate your privileges.
