Select the type of new session - Network Monitor to monitor live network traffic or Log File Playback to analyze previously recorded monitoring session.

You need to specify the filter for monitored network packets. You can select one of predefined filters (by protocol, existing connection, running process etc.) or create your own.

The Accurate Network Monitor allows you to create a Custom Filter - to specify the rules for filtering monitored network packets.

This dialog allows you to create or edit a rule for a custom filter. You can filter the network packets by source or destination address, protocol type, port number and process name.

Select the data processors to apply to the monitored packets. You can select Request View to view the monitored packets in three different forms and Logging to log all monitored data to the log file for subsequent analysis.

The Basic View displays the basic information about the monitored packet, including first several bytes of its contents.

The Complete View displays the complete information about the monitored packet, including source and destination address and full packet contents in hex.

The Text View displays the textual representation of the monitored packet.
